La route des empires 5.2.6

The Route of Empires is an application for archaeological and historical discovery in the South of Morocco.

Agadir Oufella, Igiliz, Sijilmâsa, Nul Lamta, Akka, and Zagora: from the Atlantic to Tafilalet, along the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, lies the northern edge of the Sahara. During the medieval period (10th-16th century), this transversal route was a focal point for the political and economic interests of the Moroccan dynasties that held power.

This application allows users to explore the locations of these ancient cities and visualize them in 3D, thanks to the research efforts of the Jacques-Berque Center (Rabat), in partnership with the Heritage Department of the Ministry of Culture.
